I am Professor of Business Administration, in particular Business Taxation, at the University of Regensburg, and a Research Fellow at the TRR 266 "Accounting for Transparency" Collaborative Research Center.

My research focuses on the economics of tax avoidance, tax complexity, and the influence of taxation on entrepreneurial decision-making. Beyond academic inquiry, I am committed to bridging theory and practice by exploring the practical and legal implications of economic insights in taxation.

I received my doctorate from the University of Passau in 2017 and worked as a tax consultant at Flick Gocke Schaumburg until 2020. After research positions in Paderborn and Oldenburg, I was appointed Professor of Business Taxation at the University of Regensburg in 2025.
